A Time Team Special - The Lost Dock Of Liverpool
Channel 4 broadcast a Time Team Special from Liverpool on Monday 21st April 2008.
Hosted by Tony Robinson, the programme uncovered how Liverpool grew from a small village on the banks of the River Mersey into an international trading port. At one point the amount of goods which passed through the docks amounted to 40% of all world trade and the riches generated made Liverpool the second richest city in the UK.
